   ºÐ»êÀü·Â½Ã½ºÅÛ ¹× Àü·Âº¯È¯ÀÀ¿ë ¿¬±¸½Ç(DGS & PCA Lab.)Àº 2008³â µ¿±¹´ë ÀüÀÚÀü±â°øÇкο¡¼­ ¼³¸³µÇ¾úÀ¸¸ç ÁÖ¿ä ¿¬±¸ºÐ¾ß´Â ºÐ»êÀü·Â½Ã½ºÅÛ(DGS) ±¸Ãà, °èÅ뿬°è±â¼ú(Grid Interconnection Technology), Àü·Âº¯È¯±â¼ú(Power Conversion Technology), ±×¸®°í À̸¦ À§ÇÑ Advanced Á¦¾î±â¼ú(Control Technology)ÀÔ´Ï´Ù.   ¶ÇÇÑ Àü·Âº¯È¯ÀÀ¿ë¿¡ ´ëÇÑ ¿¬±¸ ¼º°ú¸¦ ¹ÙÅÁÀ¸·Î EVs (Electric Vehicles, Àü±âÀÚµ¿Â÷) ±â¼úÀÇ ÇÙ½ÉÀÎ PMSMs (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors, ¿µ±¸ÀÚ¼®µ¿±âÀüµ¿±â)ÀÇ °í¼º´É ¼Óµµ Á¦¾î ¹× sensorless ¼Óµµ Á¦¾î, µî ¸¹Àº ¼º°ú¸¦ ³»¾î ¿ÔÀ¸¸ç, ¾ÕÀ¸·Î´Â È­¼®¿¬·á °í°¥, ȯ°æÀνÄÁõ°¡(GHG (Greenhouse Gas, ¿Â½Ç°¡½º) ¹èÃâ ¹× IEA (International Energy Agency, ±¹Á¦ ¿¡³ÊÁö ±â±¸)ÀÇ Àü¸Á), µî ´Ù¾çÇÑ ¹®Á¦¸¦ ±Øº¹Çϱâ À§ÇØ Ä£È¯°æÀÚµ¿Â÷(Eco-Friendly Vehicles)·Î¼­ ´õ¿í ÁÖ¸ñ¹Þ°í ÀÖ´Â EVs ºÐ¾ß¿¡ ´ëÇؼ­ ¿ª·®À» ÁýÁß½Ãų ¿¹Á¤ÀÔ´Ï´Ù.


   º» ¿¬±¸½ÇÀº Á¤Áø¿ì ±³¼ö´ÔÀÇ ºÎÀÓ ÀÌÈÄ ´Ü±â°£¿¡ ºü¸¥ ¼ºÀåÀ» ÀÌ·ï¿ÔÀ¸¸ç, ¹ü¿ë¼ºÀÌ ³ÐÀº PCSsÀÇ ¿¬±¸¸¦ ÅëÇÏ¿© ´Ù¾çÇÑ ºÐ¾ß¿¡¼­ ±¹³»¿ÜÀûÀ¸·Î ¿ì¼öÇÔÀ» ÀÎÁ¤¹Þ´Â ¿¬±¸½ÇÀÌ µÇ°íÀÚ ³ë·ÂÇÏ°í ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù.

 


   Thank you for visiting ¡±DGS & PCA Lab. (Distributed Generation System and Power Conversion Application Laboratory)" at Dongguk University! DGS & PCA Lab. was established in 2008 at Electronic and Electrical Engineering Department in Dongguk University. 


  The main research areas are "DGS installation", Grid Interconnection Technology", "Power Conversion Technology", and Advanced Control Technology". Nowadays, DGS installation have begun to attract attention due to the rapid development of renewables (i.e., WT (Wind Turbine) Generation, PV (Photovoltaic) Generation, Fuel Cell Generation). Also, "Grid Interconnection and Power Conversion Technologies" for the complex operation of the DGSs and their "Advanced Control Techniques" are essential in the industry. The main focus is towards securing national competitiveness in power sector through the development of devices to utilize their performance in the industry

   

   Until recently, we have developed the necessary PCSs (Power Conversion/Conditioning Systems) to improve power quality and security in the dissemination and commercialization of the DGSs, and have developed advanced and high performance control techniques such as Extended Kalman Filter, Sliding Mode Control, Repetitive Control, Fuzzy Control, Adaptive Control, and Neutral Network Control, etc.


  Based on the research results with the power conversion applications, we have accomplished many achievements such as high performance speed control and sensorless speed control of PMSMs (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors) which is the core of EVs technology. In the future, we will focus our capabilities on the EVs, which are getting more and more attention as eco-friendly vehicles, to overcome the various problems such as the depletion of fossil fuels, increasing environmental awareness (i.e., greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions), and projections of the International Energy Agency (IEA)).


   Since Professor Jin-Woo Jung¡¯s appointment, our lab. has achieved rapid growth in a short period of time. Through the research of PCSs, which is widely used, we strive to become a recognized laboratory for excellence both domestically and internationally in various fields.
